Alice M. Bauman

BAUMAN, Alice M. Age 62, of Elmira, NY, on Friday, April 16, 2021 her journey came to an end after a courageous 8yr. battle with cancer, with her beloved husband and family by her side. Alice was born in Elmira on November 22, 1958, daughter of the late William and Florence (Cook) Birkholz. Alice was also predeceased by her brother, William Birkholz. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Douglas; father and mother-in-law, Douglas and Eleanor; daughter, Jennifer Bauman; sons, David and Phillip (Kristen) Bauman; grandchildren, Deric, Elizabeth, Ethan, Madalyn, Jaxson, Victoria, Jameson, Cayson, and Alexandria; sister, Susan (Michael) Whalen; brother, Michael (Alta) Birkholz; several nieces and nephews and her beloved, Eliana. A special mention of gratitude to Alice’s sister-in-law, Jo Gublo for her companionship, help and love given during this difficult time. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 4pm to 6 pm at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
