Allen R. Silvernail

Silvernail, Allen R. Age 68, of Elmira, NY, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. He was born on August 24, 1954 in Elmira, NY to the late Richard and Shirley (Seymour) Silvernail. Al was predeceased by his sister, Bonnie Silvernail and brother, Douglas Silvernail. He is survived by his wife, Sheilia (CeCe) Silvernail; daughters, Stephanie (Tim) Doughty and Stacy (Tony) Girardi; brothers, Donald (Robin) Silvernail, Richard (Linda) Silvernail and Robert (Rose) Silvernail; sister, Sheila (Daniel) Horton; very special granddaughter, Kennedy; grandchildren, Randall, Brianna, Derek, Keegan, Karter, Kaden, Kooper, Baylee, Charliee, Carson, Quinn, Devin, Korynn, Brooke, Anna and Jesse; 3 great-grandchildren; nieces, Jessica (Justin) Rankin and Sherri (Nathan) Kerr; nephew, Douglas (Dawn) Batterson; along with several other nieces and nephews. Al loved racing and watching NASCAR every Sunday. He enjoyed his RC cars, working on his hot rods and fishing. Al also enjoyed and loved spending time with his grandchildren and he loved his wife dearly. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, August 31st from 4 to 6 p.m. at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow there at 6 p.m. with Pastor Richard Hack officiating.
