Anna O. Obuhanich

OBUHANICH, Anna O. Age 94, of Elmira, NY passed away peacefully after a brief illness on January 12, 2019 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira. Anna was born in Elmira on August 20, 1924, daughter of the late Paul and Christine (Cusick) Zubriski. Anna was also predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Steven, brothers Nicholas, Charles, Frank and John Zubriski, sisters, Helen Bacmanski, Catherine Niesluchowski, Mary Fischer and grandson, Joseph Davis. Anna is survived by her children,Christine Davis, Michael Obuhanich, Susan (Roger) Moore and Mary Chaundy; grandchildren, Alexander Davis, Matthew and Gregory Moore and Jennifer (Bryan) Neubauer; great granddaughter, Zoey Neubauer; brother-in-law’s, Harold Obuhanich and Alojzy Niesluchowski, along with several nieces and nephews. Anna was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by those that knew her. The family would like to extend a thank You to the doctors and staff of 4B at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center for the wonderful care given to Anna. It was Anna’s wish that her services be private and at the convenience of the family. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Anna to the St. Nicholas Church. Arrangements are under the care of the James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
