Mauche, Anne B.
Age 89, formerly of Elmira, NY, passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018. She was one of 12 siblings born in Candor, NY to the late Harry and May (Padgett) Van Vorce. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, John Mauche, daughter, Janine Mauche DuMond and siblings, Alice, Mary, Marcus, Robert, Lillian, Hazel and Helen. Anne is survived by her children, Jacques (Kennie) Mauche, Tim (Tony) Mauche, Christopher (Judith) Mauche, Shawn (Ragna) Mauche, Renee (Dennis) Faatz, Muffett (Tom) George and Therese (Kevin) O’Rourke; 14 grandchildren, Timmy John, Justin, Lara, Azure, Clint, Danee, Nina, Connor and Ian, Griffin, Alex, Julia, Liam and Quinn; 11 great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jackson, Felix, Soren, Brooks, Cora, Rhys, Ella, Harris, Wyatt and Quade; sisters, Catherine Hess and Loretta Nelson; brothers, Charles Van Vorce and Guy Van Vorce; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Anne was a homemaker, a beautician, and a Dialysis Technician at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Anne and John enjoyed their retirement years on Keuka Lake. She loved going for walks, reading and quilting. Her legacy lives on in the beautiful quilts she designed and made for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, May 1st from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, May 2nd at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church with Father Richard Farrell officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
