Annie M. Knights

Knights, Annie M. Age 98, of Elmira, NY, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She was born on June 15, 1922 in St. Augustine, FL to the late Charles and Mary (Bess) Richardson. Annie was predeceased by her husband, Tommie L. Knights, children, Dorothy Knights, Virginia Shazer, Willie C. Knights, Tommie C. Knights and Eugene Knights, grandsons, Anthony and Arthur Shazer and granddaughter, Amber Knights. She is survived by her sons, Arthur Knights and Willie J. Knights both of Elmira; daughters, Stella (James) Harvard, Eunice (Joseph) Washington and Vivian Knights all of Elmira; sister, Catherine Richardson of CA; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, August 24th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at James D. Barrett Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place there at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Adhering to state regulations, all guests must wear a mask and maintain social distancing at all times.
