Antonia M. Molina,
Age 55, of Elmira, NY, after a short fight with
pancreatic cancer, peacefully went home to be with the Lord and her
family who preceded her on Monday, October 9, 2023. Antonia
was born in Elmira on March 23, 1968 the daughter of the late Ishmael
and Norma (Williams) Molina. She was a bright spirit who brought joy
and love to all who knew her. In life, she had many passions, and her
career and hobbies exemplified her diverse desires. She worked as a
construction worker, a model, and her greatest accomplishment was
being an actress in NYC, working on projects that included Blue Bloods,
Law and Order, Gossip Girl, American Gangster, Sugar, and many other
projects where they needed a “shining star”. She spent many years
after that being an entrepreneur of her own jewelry business where
her work and passions were combined in the time she spent with a
special granddaughter teaching her the art. Antonia was led to the
Lord by her family who preceded her; her son, Jorden Molina, her
sisters, Carmella Ramos, Betty Jean Williams, and Jolanda Molina; and
her loving parents. She is survived by her children, Norma
Molina (James Orr), Benjamin Fernandez (Jamie Stopka) and Richard
Fernandez; grandchildren, Nevaeh Orr, Neriyah McPherson, Naseam
Fernandez, Anecia Fernandez, Lexani Fernandez, and Rain Fernandez;
great-grandchild, Lionel; sister Elizabeth Williams; a host of nieces and
nephews; and many close friends. A Memorial Service will be held at
the Monumental Baptist Church, located at 1009 Maple Ave in Elmira
on Thursday October 19, 2023 at 2 pm with a Celebration of Her Life to
follow. Antonia’s arrangements are with James D. Barrett Funeral
