Bernard J. Danner

DANNER, Bernard J. “Jim” Age 88, of Millport, NY passed away at home on Saturday, August 14, 2021. Jim was born in Cattaraugus, NY on March 11, 1933, son of the late Martin and Ruby (Preston) Danner. Jim was also predeceased by his wife, Verona in 2013, grandson, William Danner, sister, Jane Vogtli, brothers, Robert, Preston and Raymond Danner. Jim served his country in the US Army and retired from US Air in Buffalo, NY after many years of service. Jim is survived by his daughter, Joan (James) Pierce of Horseheads, NY; son, Andrew (Rebecca) Danner of Auburn, NY; 9 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; sisters, Kathleen (Norm), Frances Chmiel, Mary Danner and Patricia Miller; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 11 am to 1pm at the Love Church, 3136 Lake Rd., Horseheads, NY, A celebration of Jim’s life will follow at 1pm. Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Odessa, NY. Arrangements are with James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
