Betty R. Hatfield

Hatfield, Betty R. Age 104, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024 at Chemung County Nursing Facility. She was born on August 7, 1920 in Ridgeway, PA to the late Rollin and Ruth (Dickey) Reed. Betty was predeceased by her husband, Grover Hatfield, son, Bruce Hatfield, brothers, J. Franklin, Charles and Max Reed and sisters, Kathryn Cowart and Helen Olson. She is survived by her son, Brian (Gail) Hatfield; daughter-in-law, Maureen (O’Brien) Hatfield; grandchildren, Brett (April) Hatfield, Brian (Virginia) Hatfield, Tammy (Dominick) Montagna, Kimberly (David) Winger and Lori (Harold) Romeo; 10 great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. Interment will take place in Woodlawn National Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Betty’s name to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
