Bonnie J. Stetz

Stetz, Bonnie J. Age 79, of Elmira Heights, NY, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Robert Packer Hospital. She was born on June 24, 1945 in Elmira, NY to the late Stephen and Anna (Fecich) Stetz. She was predeceased by her sister, Patricia Labuda. Bonnie is survived by her sisters, Stephanie (Roger) VanDusen and Kathy (Mel) Bohart; brother, Stephen Stetz; brother-in-law, William Labuda; special cousin, Bonnie (Joe) Hanrahan; best friend, Janice (Don) Bushart; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and many good friends. Bonnie was a 1963 graduate of Notre Dame High School and retired from Verizon after 34 years of service. She was a longtime member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church. Family and friends are invited to attend a calling hour on Monday, June 23rd from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Church 224 Franklin St., Elmira. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow there at 10:30 a.m. with Father Richard Farrell as celebrant. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family in St. Nicholas Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude's, the American Heart Assoc. or to the American Cancer Society.
