Carol L. Barone

BARONE, Carol L. Age 72, of Horseheads, NY passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY. Carol was born in Elmira on January 18, 1950. Carol worked for Sam's Club in Big Flats for many years and was a crossing guard for the Elmira School District for 3 years. Carol is survived by her children, Kristy (Kevin) Nickerson and Todd (Christine Rush) Barone; grandchildren, Dylan Barone, Foxtrot and Echo Thomas; mother, Mary Richer; sister, Mary Ann Englebert; brother, Harold (Beth) Richer; several nieces and nephews. Carol was predeceased by her father, Harold Richer, brother, Charles Richer. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 2pm to 4pm at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home. There will be no services to follow.
