Carol L. Smith

Smith, Carol L. Age 78, of Elmira, NY, passed away at home on Monday, January 4, 2021 with her family by her side. She was born on January 27, 1942 in Elmira, NY to the late Kenneth and Beryl (Brown) Lewis. She was predeceased by her son, Rodney Smith and siblings, Glenna, Sandy, Barb, Ken and Betty. Carol is survived by her husband, Nelson Smith; daughters, Lisa (Rick) Hartsock and Susan Bilger; grandchildren, Dustin, Zachary, Kylie, Summer, Candace and Charity; great-grandchildren who were the light of her life, Camden, Andrew and Landon; brother-in-law, Carl Berry; nieces who were like her own children, Heather, Pam, Cheryl and Kim; along with several other nieces and nephews. Carol enjoyed crafting and spending time with her family. It was Carol’s wish that no services take place. Arrangements have been entrusted to the James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
