Cubero, Cynthia A.

Age 70, of Elmira, NY, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She was born on October 11, 1955 in Elmira, NY to the late Kenneth and Dolly (Bailey) Benjamin. Cynthia is survived by her son, Edwin (Rachel) Cubero; daughter, Lashanda Banks; brothers, Kenneth Kinner and Vincent Macri; sisters, Margaret Kinner and Debi Eames; close friend, William Banks; grandchildren, Daena Banks, Dion Banks and Marcus Cubero; great-grandchildren, Itzae Cubero, Nubia Banks and Adelina McCloe-Banks; along with several nieces and nephews. Cynthia loved to cross stitch, read and do puzzles. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, March 21st from 1 to 3 p.m. at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
