Cynthia E. Kelly

Kelly, Cynthia E. Age 46, of Elmira, NY, passed away very unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 18, 2021. She was born on March 18, 1975 in Elmira, NY. She was predeceased by her mother, Patricia (Cronkrite) Kelly. Cynthia is survived by her father, Lawrence Kelly of Elmira; best friend, Angela Thomas and her son, Philip of Corning; grandma, Mary Hurd of Elmira; close friends, Paul Dailey of NC and Betty Dailey of SC; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins. Cynthia graduated from EFA in 1993 and she loved knitting, crocheting, needle point and diamond painting. Cynthia loved to travel and eat at new restaurants all the time. She loved to listen to country music and spend time at Lamoka Lake and kayaking with friends. Cynthia loved unicorns and was known as the “Unicorn Lady”. She was loving and caring and always thought of others. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, May 25th from 4 to 6 p.m. at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow there at 6 p.m. with Pastor Justin Coffin officiating. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family in Woodlawn Cemetery.
