Batrony, David F. Jr. Age 37, formerly of Trumansburg and Burdett, passed away very unexpectedly on Monday, April 4, 2022. He was born on January 22, 1985 in Fort Benning, GA. He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Samuel Sr. and Virginia Batrony and maternal grandparents, Gene and Joyce Robertson. David is survived by his parents, David (Eileen) Batrony and Marjorie (Joseph) Guerriero; son, Conner Batrony with his mother, Heather Kocsis; sisters, Amanda (Cory) Porter, Tara (John) Sisana and Jessica (David) Jackson; step-brothers, Jeff (Melissa) Ripley Jr. and Dominik Guerriero; step-sister, Bella Guerriero; Fiancé, Krystyna Barna and her son, Presley; longtime friend, Justin Yonce; along with several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. David enjoyed spending quality time with his son, Conner and harvesting bees and making his own honey. He also enjoyed CrossFit and fishing with his brothers-in-law. David had a passionate heart for helping others and many lives were positively impacted because of him. He loved to make people laugh and loved his nieces and nephews dearly. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, April 15th from 6 to 8 pm at the Central Assembly of God Church, 1 Brenway Dr., Horseheads, NY. Funeral services will take place there on Saturday, April 16th at 11 am with Rev. David Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in Hector Union Cemetery, Burdett, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to Chemung Canal Trust Company in the name of David Batrony Sr. for the future care of David Jr’s son, Conner. Arrangements have been entrusted to the James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
