Dolores Wright

WRIGHT - Dolores “Dolly” We are sad to announce that on July 25, 2025, at the age of 91, Dolores Wright (Horseheads, New York) passed away. She was a very simple woman who loved her family, she always had an amazing time with her brothers and sisters. She created a welcoming home and always had kool-aid and smarties candies on hand for her grandchildren. She liked to read, play cards and to go out to Red Jacket Restaurant for lobster. She was your classic homemaker and it was a treat to get dressed up and go out. Predeceased by her late husband Forrest Wright. She was the daughter of the late Zygmunt and Stella (Miniszewski) Klepinski, She was the dearest sister to ten brothers and sisters. The late Irene (Victor) Czaplinski, Raymond (Ann) Klepinski, Eleanor (James) Krakowiak, and Gloria Andrews, Matthew Klepinski, John (Geraldine) and Zygmunt Klepinski, jr, Alice (Tony) Wydro and Dorothy (Bobby) Jankowski. She is also predeceased by two of her children, Beverly Wright and William Wright. She has one surviving sister, Adele Lawicki. She will also be deeply missed by all her surviving children, Richard Wright, Michael Wright, Timothy (Andreana) Wright, David (Lynn) Wright, and grandchildren, Kelly (Peter) McKay, Valerie (John) Colunio, Stephen Wright, Jeffery (Zofia) Wright and Robin Sawyer, Kelly Renee Bub, and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her burial will be a graveside service August 6 at 11am with family in Buffalo, NY. There will be a celebration of life on September 6 at 2pm at the Elmira Elks Lodge #62, 300 East Gray St, Elmira, NY 14901.
