Edward A. Pesesky

Pesesky, Edward A. Age 56, of Elmira Heights, NY, passed away very unexpectedly on Sunday, January 20, 2019. Ed is the beloved son of the late Frank (Fritz) and Teresa (Tess) Pesesky. He is survived by his wife, Tina Collins Pesesky; beloved children, Jillian (Morgan) Grover, Jamie (Devin Wandell) Pesesky and George Pesesky; step-children, Courtney Edger and Kinlee Collins; grandchildren, who he adored, Kayla, Miranda, Camden, Gracie, Kylie and Victoria; brothers and sisters who loved him more than words can say, Mike (Elaine) Pesesky, Kay Marie (Don) Ellis, Jane (Robert) Kennedy and Dan (Kim) Pesesky; uncle, Carl Pesesky; aunt, Bernice Pesesky; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ed was a gentle soul with a huge heart. He served proudly in the US Navy for twenty years. When he returned home he rejoined the Elmira Heights Fire Department which he loved dearly. Ed received many awards and accommodations from the Navy and the Fire Department. He worked for Northeast Mobile Shredding, Lincare and most recently at the Hilton Garden Inn. Ed our hearts are broken and life will never be the same without you. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, January 26th from 3 to 7 pm at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow there at 7 pm with Father Scott Kubinski officiating. Interment will take place on Wednesday, January 30th at 11 am in Woodlawn National Cemetery with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Elmira Heights Fire Department.
