Edward T. Strohl

Edward T. Strohl Age 86, of Southport, NY passed away on December 12, 2021 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY. Ed was born on June 2, 1935 in Rustling Hill, PA, son of the late James and Ruth (Eastwood) Strohl. He was also predeceased by 2 brothers, 1 sister, 1 brother-in-law and 1 sister-in-law. Ed is survived by his wife of 60 years, Waneta Strohl; daughters, Holly (Steve) Allen and Julia (Scott) Rummings; grandchildren, Scott (Ariel) Rummings and Sierra (David) Lee; great grandchildren, Lacey and Harper Lee; brothers, Wesley (Judy) Strohl and Glenn (Diane) Strohl; brother-in-laws, Butch Coats and Ronald (Cheryl) Coats. Ed served his country in the US Army and worked as a mechanic in the Ithaca area for over 40 years, working on Porch, Audi’s and Volkswagens automobiles. He was a Mason at the Masonic Lodge in Millport, NY. He loved to watch Westerns and Military movies. Throughout life, Ed made many friends and will be missed dearly. Arrangements are with James D.
