Eileen S. Mason

Mason, Eileen S. Age 87, of Elmira, NY, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. She was born on July 8, 1934 to the late Donald and Arlene (Eastman) Strait. She was predeceased by her husband Donald in 2000, son Daniel in 1963 and Daughter Diane in 1984, sisters, Jane Strait Randall, Donna Elmquist and Cathy Kwasnik and brother, Raymond Strait. Eileen is survived by her daughter, Denise Mason of Nanuet, NY; son, Donald (Rose) Mason of Roseville, CA; sister-in-law, Bonnie Strait; brothers-in-law, Robert Mason and Francis (Deborah) Mason; along with several nieces and nephews. She retired from the Arnot Ogden Medical Center after many years of service as a Unit Clerk. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, December 7th from 10 to 11 am at St. Patrick’s Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place there at 11 am with Father Richard Farrell as celebrant. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Chemung County SPCA. Arrangements have been entrusted to the James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
