Elizabeth Carpenter

CARPENTER, Elizabeth P. Age 89, of Elmira, NY passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira. Elizabeth was born on August 23, 1933 in Dushore, PA, daughter of the late Peter & Sophia (Say) Pastusic. She was also predeceased by her husband, Lewis Carpenter in 2011, grandson, Ross Trollinger, siblings, Joseph, Mary, Stanley, Paul, John, Michael and Francis Pastusic. Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Karen (Mark) Bureau, Lori (Doug) Glidden and Sandra (Dennis) Bergin; son, Luther “Scott” Carpenter; sister, Helen Bohlayer; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. It was Elizabeth’s wish that all services be held private to the family. Interment will take place in Woodlawn National Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are with James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
