Emma R. Novotny

NOVOTNY, Emma R. Age 91, of Elmira, NY passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Hornell Gardens in Hornell, NY. Emma was born in Manhattan, NY on April 19, 1930, daughter of the late Oscar Sr. and Emma (Fingler) Reiner. Emma was also predeceased by her husband, George; nephews, Perry and Paul. Emma retired from Schweizer Aircraft in Big Flats, NY after many years of service. Emma is survived by her brother, Oscar Reiner Jr.; nieces, Julie (George) Colon, Chloe (Dave) Gray and Shirley Novotny; nephews, George (Maryann) Novotny and Harry (Shirley) Hartman, along with many other great nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 1 pm at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home with Fr. John Desocio officiating. Interment will take place in Forest Lawn Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
