Ethel Catherine Moss

MOSS, Ethel Catherine Age 88, of Elmira Heights, NY passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021. Ethel was born in Suffern, NY, daughter of the late Albert and Ethel (Stein) Miller. Ethel was also predeceased by her husband, Paul in 1985, sons, Robert Beckhorn on May 9th 2014 and James Beckhorn June 21, 2017. Ethel served in the US Navy during the Korean War and was the proud owner/operator of the Serendepity II, antique store in Pine Valley, NY and was a longtime member of the American Legion Post#154 in Elmira Heights. Ethel is survived by her daughter, Kimberly (Christopher) McClean of Elmira Heights; grandchildren are, Catherine Mace, Cody Bledsoe, Paul Bledsoe, Sabrina McGurrell, Michelle Fudler, and Joseph Beckhorn; sisters, Rosemary (Ronald) Black of Williamsport, PA, Margret Holley of Wellsboro Pa. and Dottie Willmond of Parkhill Ok; Family and friends are invited to attend military honors for Ethel on July 9, 2021 at 2pm in Woodlawn National Cemetery. Arrangements are with James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
