Evelyn Marjorie Green

Green, Evelyn Marjorie Age 93, of Elmira, NY, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at the Chemung County Nursing Facility. She was born on March 26, 1925 in Binghamton, NY to the late Leslie Ray and Ada (White) Soper. Marge is survived by her husband of 72 years, Ronald Green; son, Edward Green; daughters, Carolyn (Kevin) Sheridan and Joyce Green; sister, Phyllis Ticknor; grandchildren, Tom and Andrew Green, Robert Emms and Cynthia Klinko; 12 great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service for Marge on Friday, June 15th at 1 p.m. at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home. Interment will take place at a later date in Woodlawn National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Living Word Evangelical Free Church.
