Gene Fantauzzi

Gene Fantauzzi Age 71, of Elmira, NY passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at his home. Gene was born on April 23, 1954 in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late Edwin and Isabel (Rosario) Fantauzzi. Gene was also predeceased by his granddaughter, Gina Marie Fantauzzi and sister, Sophie. Gene retired from Chemung County Transit after many years as a bus driver. Gene is survived by his wife, Lynn; sons, Jerry, Ian and Andre Fantauzzi; brother, Edwin (Pam) Fantauzzi; nieces and nephews, along with great nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall at 708 Lena Place, Elmira, NY14905, on Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 2pm to 4:30 pm. A congregation memorial service will take place at 3 pm. Those wishing to join in by Zoom broadcast, the ID# will be 901 068 0727 and the password is 226-241.
