In Loving Memory Of Harvey Lester Penn September 3rd, 1937 ~ June 7th, 2022 Harvey Lester Penn age 84 was born to Reid and Maxie Penn on September 3rd, 1937 in Surry County Mt. Airy, North Carolina. On Tuesday June 7th, 2022 Harvey surrendered to eternity with Jesus at Elcor Nursing Home. Harvey was a hard worker and retired from St. Joseph’s Hospital. Harvey enjoyed talking about cars, golf, and his family. Harvey enjoyed driving just to drive but most of all he loved being around his family. He is survived by his sister Virginia Jarvis of Mt. Airy, NC. His son Gregory Penn (Pamela) and daughter Penny Penn, step-daughters Candy Fagan and Robin Campbell (Andre), grandsons Anthony “Tony” Penn, Kenyon Penn and granddaughters Taylor Kohlman, Kathryn Penn, Ashley Bunting(Josh), Shayona Stroman, grandchildren Nylah and Marciano Mullen ,Ceci and Henry Bunting, Kaliyah Loyd and a host of nieces and nephews in Pennsylvania and North Carolina as well as nieces and nephews living all over the country that have ties to our North Carolina family. Harvey was preceded in death by his sisters Odessa Chivas, Martha Roberts, Eva Bowman, Cathleen Cox. His brothers Leonard Penn, Vesta Penn, Jerry Reid Penn and Parents Reid Penn and Maxie Penn Interment arrangements are being arranged by the family and will be a private service. The family is thankful for all the condolences, prayers, and love during this difficult time. 1 John 2:25 “And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.”
