Helen K. Cassada

Cassada, Helen K. Age 85, of Elmira Heights, NY, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020 at Absolut Care-Three Rivers. She was born in Elmira, NY on October 24, 1935 to the late John and Grace (Dupree) Stermer. Helen was predeceased by her husband, William Cassada and 8 siblings. She is survived by her son, Stephen (Debbie) Cassada; daughters, Colleen (Dennis) Ross and Cindy (Ron) Campbell; brother, Alfred Stermer; grandchildren, Dennis (Marilyn) Ross, Robert (Mellisa) Ross, Amanda (Justin) Hall, Kirstin Campbell, Michael (Meagan) Cassada and Sean (Meghan) Cassada; along with several nieces and nephews. Helen retired as an RN from Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons in Elmira after many years of service. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, December 18th at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church with Father Scott Kubinski as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Peter & Paul’s Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
