Helen P. Clark

CLARK, Helen P. Age 96, of Elmira, NY went to the arms of her Lord and Savior on January 31, 2022. Helen was born in Norwalk, CT on August 29, 1925, daughter of the late Edward and Helen (Kovacs) Prince. Helen was also predeceased by her husband, Albert Clark, her son, Paul Clark and sister, Virginia Butler. Helen was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Elmira where one of her joys was singing in the church choir and Cantata Singers. She provided a warm and comfortable home for her family throughout the years and will be missed dearly. Helen is survived by her sister, Audrey Horton; children, Helen Vincent, Alan (Susan) Clark, Patricia (Keith) Miller and Starlene Diotalevi; grandchildren, Mark Vincent, Julie (Richard) Purtell, Kenneth (Annie) Merritt, Kristen (Matthew Edger) Merritt, Joshua Miller, Lisa Diotalevi, Steven (Jessica) Diotalevi, Tony (Erin) DeCamilla, Lori (Dan) Clark and Sam McDannald; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; faithful caregiver, Sylvia Fontanilla. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Helen’s family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the wonderful care she received by her dedicated caregivers, allowing her to live out her life at home. In Lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Helen can be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Arrangements are with James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
