Henry R. Bennett Sr.

Bennett, Henry Sr. Age 80, of Erin, NY, passed away at home on Saturday, December 7, 2024. He was born on September 3, 1944 in Elmira, NY to the late Francis and Martha (Dyer) Bennett. He was predeceased by his brothers, Richard, Francis Jr. and John Bennett and sister, Carol Rose. Henry is survived by his wife of 60 years, Linda (Barton) Bennett of Erin; son, Hank (Tricia) Bennett Jr. of Newfield; daughter, Shelley Evans of VanEtten; sisters, Betty Garland and Linda Lou Casselbury both of VanEtten; grandchildren; Cassidy Evans of NC, Gabriella Evans of VanEtten, Cali Bennett of Newfield and Camren Bennett of Newfield; along with several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, December 13th from 11 am to 1 pm at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place there a 1 pm with Rev. Ralph Kelsey officiating. Interment will follow in Hicks Cemetery.
