Hilda M. Marsh

Marsh, Hilda M. Age 91, of Elmira Heights, NY passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY. Hilda was born in Elmira Heights on September 14, 1926, daughter of the late Theodore and Anna (Simon) Selewach. She was also predeceased by her husband, Claude Sr. in 2000, brother, Lawrence in 2001, three grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, stepson and his wife, William and Connie Marsh. Hilda retired from the Arnot Ogden Medical Center after many years of service as a switchboard operator. Hilda is survived by her children, Theodora “Teddy” (Frank) Drabinski, James (Cathy) Marsh, John E. (Jill) Marsh Sr. and Jerry (Ruth) Marsh; step-children, Claude Jr. (Jean) Marsh, Nola Heal and Linda Peet; 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 4 great- great grandchildren; sister, Constance Lido; many nieces,nephews, cousins and step- grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to call Saturday, September 8th 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home. Panykhda will follow at 8pm. Divine Liturgy will take place on Monday, September 10th 2018 at 10 am in St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church. Interment will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery. In addition to flowers, donations in memory of Hilda can be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church.
