James P. Long Sr.

James P Long Sr. Age 61, of Elmira, NY was born on August 18th 1958 in Brooklyn New York, died December 3rd 2019 in Levittown New York. He lived most of his life in Ithaca New York and Grants Pass Oregon, until moving to Elmira. He loved for his family and friends so dearly. He had a love for music, especially drums. He worked in maintenance for most of his life. He has accepted Jesus as his Savior and was very appreciative of his sacrifice. He is predeceased by his mother, Mildred, his father, Joseph and his son, Christopher. James is survived by his children James Jr. (Angela), Aaron and Nicholas Long. His grandchildren Autumn, Cameron, and Alex. His siblings, Patricia, Danny, Jeannie, Mary, Joe, David, Karen, Dana, and Paul. As well as many nieces and nephews and extended family. With his unforeseen passing he will be extremely missed by all. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 11th at 2 P.M., at James D Barrett Funeral Home, 1004 Lake Street Elmira New York 14901.
