age 79, passed away on May 17, 2026 at the Chemung County Nursing Facility. Jim was born in Elmira, NY on October 11, 1946, son of the late Serfino and Serfina (Monterrossa) Minotti. Predeceased by his brothers, Louis, Vincent and wife, Jacqueline, and just recently twin brother, Joseph. Jim retired from FedEx after many years of service. Survived by his wife, Patricia (Diliberto) of 39 years, brother, Serfino Jr. (Anita) Minotti, several cousins, nieces and nephews, sister-in-law Roberta Minotti, daughter, Tammy and special friends, Theresa and David Woodruff.

Jim made so many friends through the years, especially with his love of model trains and classic cars. He was always ready with a smile and helping hand to all he knew.

He will be forever missed.

There will be no calling hours. Jim will be laid to rest at St. Peter & Paul’s Cemetery with graveside services for family at their convenience. Thank you to Dr. Mauri and Dr. Westervelt, along with the 3rd floor staff at Chemung County Nursing Facility for their care and compassion.
