James E. Wantuck

WANTUCK, James E. “Red” Age 71, of Elmira, NY passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at home with his family by his side. James was born on March 19, 1951 in Elmira, son of the late Michael and Margaret (Gorsky) Wantuck. He was also predeceased by his mother-in-law, Mary Liberatore, sister’s-in-law, Gail Wantuck and Susan Johnson. James retired from NYS Corrections as an officer from Elmira Correctional Facility. James is survived by his wife, Deborah; brothers, John (Ruth) Wantuck and Michael Wantuck; sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Theresa (Glenn) Cunningham, Joseph Liberatore, Patricia (James Stewert) Longwell, Antoinette (Michael) Gardner and Jacqueline (Richard) Kreidler; several nieces and nephews. James' request was for no services to be held. Family would like to thank Carefirst and Dr. Snellgrove for the wonderful care given to James during his illness. Arrangements are with James D.
