Jean M. Lyden

Jean (Jeanne) Lyden Jean passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020 due to complications from ovarian cancer. She is now reunited with the love of her life Joe, who predeceased her on December 27, 2011. Jean is survived by sons Joseph (Dawn) of Elmira Heights, NY and James (Gretchen) of Carolina Beach, NC and daughters Jan Phillips of Franklinton, NC and Judy (Stanley) Clark of Elmira Heights, NY. Her grandchildren include Betsey (Tom) Fortier, Shannon & Megan Clark; Justine (Matt) Saunders, Nicole (Tom) Huffner, & Emily Lyden; Mallory (Lisa) Nolan & Ryan (Emily) Hill; and Anika & Carly Lyden. Jean is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren - Joey & Emma Saunders, Tommy & Sophie Jeanne Huffner, Ava & Cam Hill, and Jimmy Fortier. Jean's loving family also includes brother Robert (Janice) Fields of Holland Patent, NY, sister Patricia Naylor of Falconer, NY, sister-in-law Margaret Manzo of Millinocket, ME and several nieces, nephews, cousins and treasured friends. A private funeral service will be held for Jean at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home with Fr. Scott Kubinski officiating. Interment will take place in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery. The family wishes to thank Jean's doctors, especially Dr. Chris Fucito and Leslie of the Guthrie group, as well as the nurses of CareFirst Hospice.
