Jeffrey L. Mikel

Mikel, Jeffrey L. "Squiggy" Age 68, of Elmira Heights, NY, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at Corning Hospital. He was born on September 5, 1956 in Elmira, NY. Jeffrey is predeceased by his wife of 27 years, Stacey Lynne Mikel in 2022 and brothers, David and James Mikel. He is survived by his daughter, Jessica (Scot) Waters; step-sons, Adam (Alyssa Mal) Hallahan, Jacob Cain, Nicholas Marks and Aaron (Alivia) Marks; siblings, Nancy (Harry Harvey) Rohde, Marianne (Bill) Keefe and Mark (Susan) Rohde; grandchildren, Nolan Waters and Bailey Waters; mother-in-law, Sharon Hallahan and best friend, Joe (Kelly) Gasienski. Jeffrey served in the US Army reserves for 12 years. He was employed with Sysco for 20+ years and also Horwitz Supply and Southern Tier Food bank. He enjoyed spending time at Watkins Glen race weekend with family and friends and loved tinkering in the garage with his grandson, Nolan. It was Jeffrey’s wish that no services be held. Interment will take place in Woodlawn National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
