BROWN, Jill M. We regretfully announce the passing of Jill (Janeski) Brown, age 42, who passed from this world into her loving Savior’s arms on July 18, 2021. Jill fought a difficult battle with liver disease and is finally at rest. Jill’s faith was so important to her and we can take comfort in that. Jill met the love of her life, Leroy Brown (yes, I said Leroy Brown), and married him in 2003 and together they had their pride and joy, Isaiah. Jill loved Isaiah fiercely. Jill was a wonderful and kind friend to all, but especially to her Bff’s, you know who you are. Jill was especially close to her mom, they had quite the bond. Jill adored her siblings, Michael, Jimmy, Lisa and Adam. Jill would tell you her dad, Michael Janeski Sr. was the best dad ever, he also passed at a young age from this disease. Jill, her dad and brother Adam are now reunited. We all love you beautiful angel until we meet again on the streets of gold. Jill is survived by her husband, Leroy; son, Isaiah; step-son, Elijah; mom and step-dad, Sue and Joe Teets; siblings, Michael Janeski and his wife, Bobbie with their children, Dylan, Alexandria, Zackery and Mikaylynn Sue; Lisa Morton and her husband Michael with her children, Andrew and Brianna; Jimmy Janeski and his children, Ava Sue, Jaxon and Austin; step-monster, Cookie; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A celebration of Jill’s life will take place Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 1 pm to 3 pm at Living Word Evangelical Free Church at 1119 Lake St., Elmira. Arrangements are with James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
