Joan M. Stoquert

Stoquert, Joan M. Age 76, of Elmira Heights, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. She was born in Elmira, NY on July 20, 1946 to the late Adelbert and Alice (Krebs) Rider. She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick Stoquert Jr. and son, Richard Raupers and her beloved feline friend, Amber. Joan is survived by her sister, Dolores Wilcox; son, Michael (Brandi) Raupers; daughter, Kelley (Tony Merrill) Raupers; grandchildren, Kiah Raupers, Alex (Darian) Raupers, Nathaniel Raupers, Jennifer Guier, Erin (Wayne) Overby, Jacob Guier, Ethan Raupers and Hunter Raupers; great-grandchildren, Jordan and Lila; daughter-in-law, Bernadette Raupers; nephews, Jeff Wilcox and Kevin Wilcox; nieces, Adel Terris and Brenda Hartman. Joan enjoyed painting and traveling and she loved animals, especially cats. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Joan on Saturday, August 20th from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at The Way Center, 132 Oakwood Avenue, Elmira Heights. Arrangements have been entrusted to the James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
