John C. Jr. Mace

MACE, John C. Jr. Age 86, of Alpine, NY passed away quietly on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. John was born in Elmira, NY on March 21, 1935, son of the late John Sr. and Olivia (Eilers) Mace. He was also predeceased by his wife, Shirley (Kinney) Mace. John is survived by his daughters, Debbie (Glenn) VanGalder and Vicky (Joe) Ector; sons, John (Anne) Mace III and Jesse Mace; 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He is also survived by his faithful dog, Molly Brown. John was a very dedicated employee of Streeter Associates Inc. and retired after 42 years of service as a superintendent. Interment will be private to the family and take place in Woodlawn Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations in memory of John can be made to the Schuyler County Ambulance Association. Arrangements are with James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
