John L. Santulli

John Louis Santulli Passed from this life to his heavenly home on January 26, 2022. He was welcomed by his Brother Jesus Christ and is now worshipping with the angels, singing with a clear voice and playing his heavenly guitar. John was born August 7, 1955 to Eunice Gertrude Bailey and Joseph Louis Santulli. He met his soul mate, lover and best friend, Joan M. Jewell, when he was 16 years old and they have spent the next 51 years together. John is survived by his daughters, Sarah J. Santulli and Deborah (Jeremy) Laughlin and his precious grandchildren, Alexander Alverson, Skylar Alverson and Gabby Alverson. He was predeceased by his best buddy, Charlie (Charles) Winnie. John spent the last 7+ years living life to the fullest while battling cancer. He was able to build a 24’ x 20’ foot deck at his residence, completely gut and remodel his rental house and install a bathroom and kitchenette in his basement all while having chemotherapy treatments. He loved being the worship leader at his church. He also loved hunting, fishing, camping and trying to play golf. His life was a testimony to the grace and love of his God. A celebration of John’s life will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 1:00pm at the Central Assembly of God church, One Brenway Drive, Horseheads, New York. Arrangements have been entrusted to the James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
