Jose E Molina Sr.
aka “Papi”, born 7/20/1938 in Jayuya, PR, passed away 8/31/2023 at the age of 85 with his loved ones by his side. Jose grew up in Jayuya with his parents and 9 siblings. He retired from Kennedy Valve. Jose is survived by his children’s mother, Dixie Molina, along with their children Evelyn (Luis) Molina, Virginia Molina, Jose Molina Jr, and Tia (Steve) Linton as well as his grandchildren, Jesus Ramos, Demetrius Molina Sr, Maria Ramos, Ramon Ramos, Margrita Molina, Medrena Molina, Matthew Shutt, Allister Tronchin Jr, Malea Molina, Demarus Tronchin, Jose Molina III, Enrico Molina, and Demario Molina. Jose’s grandchildren and his many great-grandchildren were the light of his life and he loved them dearly. Papi, who was a true outdoorsman, was devoted to hunting and fishing. Papi’s favorite past time was undoubtedly deer season, a time in which he would proudly and faithfully wear his bright orange hunting gear. Papi was also known for his green thumb and every spring papi grew a large vegetable garden in his back yard. Another one of his passions was coin collecting. Papi possessed a very large and rare coin collection that he dedicated himself to. He had an enormous heart and will be truly missed. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, September 6th from 2 pm to 5 pm at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow there at 5 pm. Interment will take place on Thursday, September 7th at 12 pm in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
