Joseph A. Addabbo

ADDABBO, Joseph A. Age 86, of Elmira, NY passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at the Chemung County Nursing Facility in Elmira. Joseph was born in Elmira on June 6, 1937, son of the late Joseph V. and Mary (DeNunzio) Addabbo. Joseph retired after 20 years of service in dietary at the St. Joseph’s Hospital in Elmira. He also worked for Gulf Supply, National Homes and for his brother, Phillip in construction building homes in the area. Joseph will be missed dearly by those that knew him. Joseph was predeceased by his sisters, Elizabeth Wyatt and Loretta Personius, brothers, Phillip I, Phillip II and James Addabbo. He is survived by his brother, Thomas (Audrey) Addabbo and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call Monday, May 13, 2024 from 2pm to 4pm at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 4 pm with Deacon Joseph Erway officiating. Interment will take place on Tuesday, May 14th at 11am in St. Peter & Paul’s Cemetery.
