Joseph W. Sr. Brannaka

BRANNAKA, Joseph W. Sr. Age 60, of Elmira, NY passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira. Joseph was born in Elmira on January 25, 1957, son of the late Emerson and Rose (Toti-Recouper) Brannaka. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Thomas and John Brannaka. Joseph is survived by the love of his life, Rhonda Bishop and her children, Wendy and Mark Kingsley; daughters, Susan Garey, Marcie (Daniel) Benjamin and Martha “Annie” Brannaka; sons, Joseph W. (Brittany Spencer) Brannaka Jr. and Jesse J. (Angelica) Christensen; 18 grandchildren; sister, Martha (Val) Gray; sister-in-law, Janice Brannaka; several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Joseph’s life will take place at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
