Judith G. Girardi

Girardi, Judith G. Age 79, of Elmira, NY passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at the Corning Hospital in Corning, NY. Judith was born in Elmira, NY on September 23, 1944, daughter of the late Lester and Marion (Ellison) Besley. Judith will always be remembered for being a wonderful wife, mother, nana, sister, aunt to many nieces and nephews, in-law and loyal friend. Judith is survived by her husband, Nicholas; daughters, Michelle (Roy) Cook, Becky Girardi and Jennifer (Sheldon) Willow; grandchildren, Matthew Girardi, Mary (Jeremy) Westerfield, Tyler Cook, Emily (Fieron) Santos, Julie (Justina) Burrows, Jessica (Patrick) Saxbury, Anthony (Sara) Saxbury, Amanda (Colin) Heck and Ashley Willow; 8 great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 12pm to 2pm at James D. Barrett Funeral Home. Memorial service will follow at 2 pm with Fr. John Desocio officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn National Cemetery.
