Kenneth G. Jr. Alford

ALFORD, Kenneth G. Jr. Age 43, of Elmira, NY went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 28, 2022. Kenneth was born in Atlanta, GA on October 13, 1978, son of Kenneth Sr. and Melanie (Fears) Alford. Kenneth is survived by his children, Kennedi, Kendall, Ashley, Kentrell and Kenneth III; parents, Kenneth Sr. and Melanie Alford; sisters, Lakissa (Remus) Jackson and Shanita Alford; father and mother-in-law, Willie and Olinda Sapp; sisters and brothers-in-laws, Rhoda Beckford, Nichelle (Ali) Lynch, Daniell (Kenny) Sapp and Anita Sapp; brother, Charles (Reba) Lynch; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held private to the family in Monumental Baptist Church with Pastor Corey Cook officiating. Interment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery. For those in attendance, please wear a mask due to Covid restrictions. In Lieu of flowers, donations in care of Kenneth and Yolanda’s children can be made to Olinda Sapp at 309 Catherine St., Elmira, NY 14904. Arrangements are with James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
