Lloyd W. Scott

Scott, Lloyd W. Age 94, of Horseheads, NY, passed away at home on Friday, June 8, 2018. He was born in Tyre, NY on April 3, 1924 to the late John and Littie (Cisco) Scott. He was predeceased by his first wife, Kathryn Scott. Lloyd is survived by his wife of 11 years, June (Lusk) Scott; daughter, Christina (Monty) Corum; step-children, Laurence (Carol) Scofield, Darlene (David) Shearns and Sandra Holland; grandchildren, Steven Machuga and Charlotte Machuga; 13 step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Christina Bowes, Nicole Machuga and Patrick Reynolds; 3 great-great grandchildren and his faithful canine companion, “Banjo”. Lloyd was a veteran of the US Army during WWII. He was a longtime member of the American Legion Post 154 in Elmira Heights and was a very avid Euchre player. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service for Lloyd on Friday, June 22nd at 1 p.m. in Maple Grove Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the James D. Barrett Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Horseheads Animal Shelter or New Hope Baptist Church, State St., Millport, NY.
