Lucy A. Kamas

Kamas, Lucy A. Age 98, of Horseheads, NY, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She was born on July 7, 1924 in Newfield, NY to the late August and Angeline (Terranzzi) Tudi. She was predeceased by her husband, John Kamas and several brothers and sisters. Lucy is survived by her sons, Daniel (Patti) Kamas, David (Patti) Kamas and Gary (Teri) Kamas; daughters, Sharon (Bill Carstens) Smith and Debbie Hernandez; brother, Ned Tudi; sister, Ann Gatto; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; special friends, Wendy and Reggie; along with several nieces and nephews. Lucy was a lifelong member of the Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish and the Ladies of Charity. Family and faith were very important to her. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, January 5th at 12 p.m. in St. Patrick’s Church with Father Scott Kubinski as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Peter & Paul’s Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
