Luis Angel Cubero

Luis was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico and is predeceased by his maternal parents, Da Vid Maisonet and Gilberto Gonzalez; Brothers, Wilfredo, Juan de Jesus, Gilberto and Ariel; Sisters, Judith and Maria. Previous wife and the mother of his children, Beverly Ann Cubero.
Luis (nickname: Pipo and Pete) was a practical joker with a generous heart of gold, never hesitating to help people out. Luis was a jack of all trades, could fix and build anything like a skilled carpenter. He had great determination and perseverance in completing tasks.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Belinda (Robert) Cubero, Chanda (Sidney) Moore; Grandchildren, Sidney Jr. Moore, Laetitia Moore and LeeAnaca Moore; Nephew, Antonio Figueroa; Sisters, Lydia Cubero-Maisonet, Iris Cubero-Maisonet, Alice Cubero-Maisonet, Luz Cubero-Maisonet, Wilma Cubero-Maisonet, Carmen Gonzalez, Gloria Gonzalez and Lillian Gonzalez; Brothers, Raymond (Mirtalina) Gonzalez, Teleforo (Ana) Maisonet, Edwin (Cindy) Maisonet, Victor (Debbie) Maisonet, Carlo Perez, and Efrain; Stepmom, Lillian Gonzalez; Partner in life, Dixie Groom and her children, Evelyn (Jose Luis) Molina, Virginia Molina, Jose Molina Jr, Tia (Steve) Linton; her grandchildren, Margrita (Mark) Molina, Medrena (Terreik) Molina, Demetrius (Chestina) Molina, Allister (Aiyana)Tronchin, Demarus Tronchin, Demario Molina, Jesus Ramos, Maria Ramos, Ramon Ramos, Malea Molina, Jose Molina III, Enrico Molina. A host of family including nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom he loved dearly.
There will be a Celebration of life on Saturday October 7, 2023, 1-3pm at James D. Barrett Funeral Home, Elmira, NY and a repass following at 3:30 pm at The Way Center 132 Oakwood Ave, Elmira Heights, NY, 14903.
