Madeleine Pabis

Pabis, Madeleine Age 84, of Elmira, NY, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She was born in Beverly, MA on October 11, 1939 to the late John and Irene (Walsh) Burns. She was predeceased by her husband, Arnold Pabis Sr., siblings, Barbara Snyder, John Burns, Paul Burns and Michael Burns and grandson, Michael Shaline. Madeleine is survived by her son, Arnold Pabis Jr.; daughter, Colleen Shaline and her fiancé, Dan Evertts; grandchildren, Ashley Pabis, Joseph (Amanda) Shaline, John Pabis, Brayden Vondercheck and Tanner Vonderchek; great-grandchildren, Natalie, Lewis, Ryder and Lincoln; sister-in-law, Delores Burns; along with several nieces and nephews. It was her wish that all service be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations in her name can be made to the Children's Miracle Network and the Chemung County SPCA.
