Margaret A. Blake

BLAKE, Margaret A. “Peggy” Age 77, of Elmira, NY passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023 at the Buffalo Center For Rehabilitation and Nursing in Buffalo, NY. Peggy was born in Elmira on June 9, 1946, daughter of the late Charles and Harriet (Becker) Stroman. She was also predeceased by her husband, Henry Blake in 2016 and sister, Mary Stroman in 2017. Peggy retired from EOP after many years as clerical secretary. She was a resident of WoodBrook in Elmira and enjoyed the comfortable atmosphere, along with the wonderful people that worked and resided there. Peggy was a wonderful person and will be missed. Peggy will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are with James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
