Marilyn Shaw

SHAW, Marilyn D. Age 83, of Horseheads, New York passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital in Elmira, New York on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. Marilyn was born on June 28, 1935 in Elmira, New York, the daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Foss) Shaw. She was predeceased by her brothers Thomas Shaw and William Shaw. Marilyn is survived by her brother Thaddeus Shaw of Lakeland, FL and her sister Rita (Shaw) Roe of Chesterfield, Virginia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Marilyn was always a special member of the family who always brought light and humor to every situation. She was cared for by her brother William until his passing and has resided at St. Joseph's Hospital for many years. The family would like to thank the staff in the A3 unit for their loving care and compassion throughout her stay. Services for Marilyn will be private and she will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
