Marjorie R. Oparil

Oparil, Marjorie R. Age 95, of Elmira, NY, passed away at home on Monday, March 15, 2021 with her family by her side. She was born on August 10, 1925 in Dundee, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley Oparil Jr., parents, Leon and Leona Nelson, brothers, Richard and Donald Robinson, sisters, Pauline Hauck and Elizabeth Aten and sister-in law, Mary Robinson. Marjorie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jake and Stacey Oparil; grandchildren, Steven (Katrina) and Emily (Kaylen) Oparil; great-grandchildren, Treyvon and Zavian; sisters-in-law, Frances Robinson and Dr. Suzanne Oparil; along with several nieces and nephews and special friends, Doris Ketcham and Mary Mustico. She was employed for over 16 years as a stenographer for Hardige Inc. It was Marjorie’s’ wish that no services be held. Interment will take place in Woodlawn National Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
