Michael F. Birkholz

Birkholz, Michael F. Age 77, of Pine City, NY, passed away at home on Sunday, April 28, 2024. He was born on February 4, 1947 in Elmira, NY. Michael was predeceased by his parents, William and Florence Birkholz, brother, William Birkholz III and sister, Alice Bauman. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Altah (Hosley) Birkholz; son, Todd Birkholz; daughter Julie Rychel; sister, Susan (Michael) Whalen; grandchildren, Samantha Rychel, Patrick (Aliyya) Rychel and Ryan Rychel; great-grandchildren, Thomas Pittman, Haylee Rychel, Cole Barnes, Alianna Rychel, Caleb Barnes, Penelope Rychel and one on the way, Gabriella Rychel; along with several nieces and nephews. Michael was a veteran of the US Army and he retired as an RN from the Arnot Ogden Medical Center after many years of service. He enjoyed golfing and bowling at Dixie Lanes. Michael was an avid NY Giants and Yankees fan. A celebration life for Michael will take place at a later date.
